FastPass+ is a new system here at Disney where you can schedule the big rides in your day and potentially avoid the longer wait lines/times. You use your main gate to book the fast passes. To start off the day, you have three fast passes that you can book right away. Here at EPCOT, we have a tiered system. You can book one in the first column and two from the second. Our big ticket attractions- Test Track, Soarin', Illuminations and Living With The Land are all in tier 1/the first column. Everything else is in the second column. This way there is at least a two hour break between your two bigger attractions to let those in the standby line have a chance as well :) at least, that's te theory behind it, I think-- like the Legacy System, if you've heard of that. Anyway, after you book your initial three fast passes, you can always go up to the kiosks or the roaming fast pass people and book more! One at a time, but you can do it! It's a really cool idea. Annual Pass holders can book 30 days in advance and book 7 of those 30 days. Resort Guests can book their fast passes 60 days before they arrive. It's been a really cool idea and I had such a good day training on it.
My trainers were a blast! It was a big group of people at the beginning of the day, around 12 or 13 trainees and 3 or 4 trainers! But, we split into smaller groups and it worked out really well. One of my small group members is a huge fan of Frozen, so we talked about that movie a lot, and how Norway's Maelstrom ride is going down to be revamped as a new Frozon ride! Also, one of the trainers will be joining us at Agent P in a few weeks! It was overall a really good day and I had so much fun!
PS- Journey into Imagination with Figment is adorable!
