Big Bad Voodoo Daddy! - Now with Videos!

So here in EPCOT is the World Showcase. At the far end of the World Showcase (It's a circle, but I'm talking about the back end compared to the main entrance) is the American Adventure pavilion. That is where we host concerts! Right now, EPCOT's International Food and Wine Festival's concert series is called Eat to the Beat! The last band to play here was Big Bad Voodoo Daddy! They were so much fun!

I worked at a cart for Agent P their first night of performing (sadness). But the second night they performed, I was working in the theatre where they were playing! (Like I've said, I get to do a little bit of everything :) ) It was the greatest thing ever. I was so happy and excited.  A lot of people were there to dance. One of Orlando's swing companies was there to dance to the side and a bunch of little kids were dancing on the side of the theatre as well. I danced with a little princess named Snow White (I didn't catch her real name) and a little prince named Nicholas (he travelled all the way from Cali!). They were a delightful duo and definitely made my night both times :)

The last show they performed, last night, Monday, November 10th, I went to as a guest. It was even more fun. Unfortunately, the swing company had left on Sunday to get back to their day jobs. But, that meant I could take videos! Weee! Here you go! They were lovely :)

Festival of Fantasy!

I have now been to see the Festival of Fantasy Parade twice! This is the famed 3 o'clock parade that they warn us about during training. Guests do actually ask, "What time is the 3 o'clock parade?". It's all true. But anyway, it's a beautiful parade. I am going to put the pictures in order that I took them, rather than in parade order following this, because the first time I saw the parade, Magic Kingdom was all dressed up for Fall and Halloween. The second time, Magic Kingdom was all dressed up for Christmas and the Holiday Season! This way, you all don't have random background changes in the middle. Also, the first time I saw the parade was closer up to the castle, at the Tomorrowland bridge. The second time was on Main Street almost by the Train Station. So away we go, it's the Festival of Fantasy.

Also, there will be intermittent selfies in this slew of photos. Castle Selfies are so much fun! Also, that's my friend Shawn photo-bombing. That was too funny! :P

Hey look who I found! Matt was on vacation with his family, but was able to stop by and see me a few times! :)

This is my friend Dana. We were at the Incredible Dance Party in Tomorrowland while the rest of the group we were with went to go ride Space Mountain!

And at the dance party, we met Frozone!

Look at these delicious cupcakes from the Cheshire Cafe in Fantasyland!

More Castle Selfies from that day. I tend to wait til the end of the day to save the photos from Snapchat... hence, why these are at the end!

The second time I saw the Festival of Fantasy parade, I was at MK with my roomies! Erica, Corrina, Kaitlin and I all had the morning off, so we went to go visit that beautiful, magical park :)
Look how little the castle looks from across the Seven Seas Lagoon!

Magic Kingdom all dressed up for the Holidays!

So, right behind the Cinderella Castle is this fountain of Cinderella feeding the birds. If you are child-height, and standing at the fountain, it looks like Cinderella is wearing the crown in the painted mural just behind here. That way, in the eyes of a child, Cinderella is, was, and always will be a princess :) However, if you take a few steps forward, and take a selfie, it looks like you're wearing Cinderella's crown! Weee!

Corrina and Erica :P

Corrina, Erica and Kaitlin! Selfies while walking, what a beautiful skill we have mastered :P

Enchanted Tales with Belle! This is a painting inside the cottage where Belle and her father lived. It's of her mother reading to Belle.

Enchanted Tales with Belle!

Then, because we were all dressed up, we went to go visit some of the Princesses in the Royal Princess Hall.

On your way into the hall, there are pictures of some of our lovely Princesses :)

Snow looks like she's taking a selfie instead of holding that bird. Really though.

Isn't it beautiful?!

And, of course, to finish off the day, right before we left so that Kaitlin and I could go to work, we saw the Festival of Fantasy parade again! (Also, I got instagram...)

It's a beautiful parade, and a whole lot of fun. I do recommend seeing it if you are here to visit the parks. Have a magical day everyone :)
